Privacy Policy

Verith is built so that the most personal data there is — your blood work — stays with you. This policy explains, in plain language, exactly what that means.

Last updated July 8, 2026
The short version
Stored on your device
Your results live on your iPhone, secured by Apple's device protection — not on our servers.
No account, no tracking
There's no sign-up, no email, and no advertising or profiling. We don't build a profile of you.
Nothing to sell
Because your health data never reaches us, there is nothing for us to mine, share, or sell.
This is a plain-language privacy policy for the Verith iOS app and the verith.app website, both operated by Eveth Labs Inc. ("Verith", "we", "us"). We've tried to write it so a human can read it.

1 · What this policy covers

This policy applies to the Verith mobile application and the calculators and guides on verith.app. It describes what information exists, where it is stored, and the limited situations in which any information leaves your device.

Verith is designed around a simple principle: your health information belongs to you and should stay under your control. Most of what follows is a description of data we deliberately never receive.

2 · Data stored on your device

Everything you put into Verith is stored locally on your iPhone. This includes:

  • Biomarker results you import or enter (for example glucose, ALT, hs-CRP, lipids).
  • Original lab report files you import as PDFs or photos.
  • Profile details you choose to add, such as date of birth, sex, height, weight, medications and supplements, and personal goals.
  • Calculated values such as your PhenoAge and KDM biological age, trends, and system grades.

This data is held in the app's private storage on your device and is protected by Apple's built-in device security, including your passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID. Verith does not transmit this data to Eveth Labs, and we have no ability to access it.

3 · What we don't collect

We want to be explicit about the things we intentionally do not do:

  • We do not require an account. There is no sign-up, username, password, or email address to use the app.
  • We do not operate a backend that stores your health data. There is no Verith server holding your results.
  • We do not sell, rent, or share your personal or health information with data brokers, advertisers, or anyone else.
  • We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not embed third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.

4 · iCloud sync & report archiving

Two optional features use your own Apple iCloud account — not our servers:

iCloud sync (Verith Pro). If you enable sync, your Verith data is synchronized across your devices through your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit. It travels between your devices via Apple's infrastructure, governed by Apple's iCloud terms and privacy policy. Eveth Labs cannot see the contents of your iCloud data.

Report archiving. When you import a lab report, the original file is archived to your iCloud Drive so it remains available to you beyond the initial import. These files live in your iCloud Drive under your control; you can view or delete them at any time.

Both features are optional and rely entirely on Apple's services and your Apple ID. Disabling them keeps all data local to the device.

5 · AI Coach

The AI Coach is the one feature that, by necessity, sends information off your device — and only when you actively use it. When you ask a question, Verith assembles a prompt from the context you've selected (for example specific markers, your age and sex, or a goal) and sends that prompt to our AI processing provider solely to generate your response.

  • The prompt is sent securely and used only to produce the answer you requested.
  • We do not attach your name or account (there isn't one) to these requests.
  • Your prompts are not used to train third-party AI models, and are not retained by us beyond generating the response.
  • You choose what context to include before sending. If you don't use the AI Coach, no data leaves your device through it.

You should avoid entering information you don't want processed by an AI provider, and remember that AI responses are informational, not medical advice (see our Terms).

6 · Website & calculators

The PhenoAge and KDM calculators on verith.app run entirely in your browser. The values you enter are used to compute a result on your own computer and are never transmitted to us. Refreshing or closing the page clears them.

Our website uses only the minimum technical cookies or local storage needed to function (for example, remembering your preferred units). We do not use advertising cookies.

7 · App Store diagnostics

If you have enabled sharing of analytics with app developers in your iOS settings, Apple may provide us with aggregated, anonymized crash and performance diagnostics through App Store Connect. This helps us fix bugs and improve stability. These reports do not contain your health data and are not linked to your identity. You can turn this off in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.

8 · Third-party services

Verith relies on a small number of third parties, each governed by its own privacy policy:

  • Apple — for app distribution, in-app purchases and subscriptions, iCloud sync, and iCloud Drive archiving.
  • Our AI processing provider — for generating AI Coach responses, only when you use that feature.

We do not integrate advertising networks or analytics SDKs into the app itself.

9 · Children's privacy

Verith is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. Because health data is stored on the device and not collected by us, parents and guardians control access through the device itself.

10 · Your control & rights

Because your data lives on your device, you have direct control over it at all times:

  • Access & export. You can view all your data in the app; archived reports remain in your iCloud Drive.
  • Deletion. Deleting a result removes it from the app. Deleting the app removes its on-device data. iCloud-synced data can be removed via your iCloud settings.
  • Statutory rights. Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or applicable Canadian and US state privacy laws), you may have additional rights. Since we hold essentially no personal data about you, most requests are satisfied directly on your device — but you can always contact us.

11 · Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves — for example if we add a feature like HealthKit integration. When we make material changes, we'll update the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, note the change in the app. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
