1 · Acceptance of terms
By downloading, installing, or using Verith, or by using our website or calculators, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Verith.
2 · Not medical advice
Verith provides general health and wellness information for educational purposes only. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
- Biological-age estimates (PhenoAge, KDM) and marker ranges are statistical estimates based on published research, not clinical determinations.
- AI Coach responses are automatically generated and may be incomplete or incorrect.
- Never disregard or delay seeking professional medical advice because of something you read in Verith.
- If you think you may have a medical emergency, contact your doctor or emergency services immediately.
3 · Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Verith. By using Verith you represent that you are 18 or older and are legally able to enter into these Terms.
4 · Licence to use Verith
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Verith for your own non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:
- Copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works of the app except as permitted by law;
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit Verith or its content;
- Use Verith in any way that violates applicable law or infringes another party's rights.
5 · Your data & responsibilities
Verith stores your health data on your device, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for:
- The accuracy of the results and profile details you enter — calculations and insights are only as good as the numbers you provide;
- Maintaining the security of your device and Apple ID;
- Keeping your own backups. Because data is stored locally, deleting the app or losing your device may permanently delete your data unless you have enabled iCloud sync or retained archived reports.
6 · AI Coach
When you use the AI Coach, the context you select is sent to our AI processing provider to generate a response, as described in the Privacy Policy. AI-generated content can be inaccurate, incomplete, or not applicable to your situation. You use AI Coach responses at your own discretion and risk, and they do not create a doctor–patient relationship.
7 · Verith Pro & billing
Certain features (such as iCloud sync and Longevity mode) require a paid Verith Pro subscription. Subscriptions are sold and managed through your Apple App Store account:
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends, at the then-current price.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
- Except where required by law or Apple's policies, payments are non-refundable. Refund requests are handled by Apple.
8 · Free calculators
The PhenoAge and KDM calculators on our website are provided free of charge and run entirely in your browser. They are offered "as is" for educational use, with the same "not medical advice" limitations described above. We do not guarantee the availability of the website or calculators.
9 · Intellectual property
Verith, the Verith name and logo, the app, website, and their content (excluding your own data and third-party materials) are owned by Eveth Labs Inc. and protected by intellectual-property laws. Scientific methods referenced by Verith — such as the PhenoAge (Levine et al., 2018) and Klemera–Doubal (2006) methods — are the work of their respective authors and are used for informational purposes.
10 · Disclaimer of warranties
Verith is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that Verith will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its estimates are accurate for your individual circumstances.
11 · Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Eveth Labs Inc. and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of — or inability to use — Verith. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for Verith in the twelve months before the claim (or, if you paid nothing, to CAD $0). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
12 · Termination
You may stop using Verith at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms or use Verith unlawfully. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — will continue to apply.
13 · Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the province or state in which Eveth Labs Inc. is incorporated, and the applicable federal laws, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located there, except where mandatory consumer-protection law provides otherwise.
14 · Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as Verith evolves. When we make material changes, we'll update the "last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use Verith after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
